President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Dutse in Jigawa after a 2-day working visit to the state and has arrived in Abuja to commission the new ultra modern head office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad disclosed this on Twitter on Tuesday, May 14.
While in Jigawa, the president had on Monday, May 13, launched the N9 billion Hadejia Valley Irrigation Scheme (HVIS) rehabilitation project in Auyo local government Area of Jigawa.
According to reports, the speaker of House of Representative Yakubu Dogara, on Wednesday, May 9 Visited the new Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Head Office.
Dogara who was on a working visit described the building as a dream come true, noting that the project was justified considering the quality of infrastructure put in place and the fine finish work.
Expressing his joy at the infrastructure, he said: “You can see now, we have an excellent facility. I want to commend all who have contributed to the successful completion of this project particularly the acting chairman, EFCC, and his team. For me, it is a dream come true. This is the kind of thing we want to see”.
